Andrea Astarita designs in a way that feels super intentional, like nothing on the page is there by accident. Every line, every bit of type, it’s like it had to prove it deserved to be there. His style is really structured and clean, almost architectural in a weird way, like you could build something out of it. He doesn’t drown his work in crazy effects or random visual chaos. Instead, everything feels controlled, and that control somehow makes it hit harder. It’s not loud, but it still grabs you.
When I first really looked at his work, what stood out wasn’t anything flashy. It was actually how much he didn’t add. A lot of designers try to impress people by stacking on more and more stuff, but Andrea kind of strips things back. And the more I pay attention, the more I realize how much spacing and balance actually matter. Like, empty space isn’t empty, it’s doing something. His projects make me rethink how I design, because instead of just decorating everything, I start asking myself why I’m putting something there in the first place.
